Brad Dufton Owner / Creator
Originally from metro Washington D.C., Brad moved to Boston, Ma.
in 1996 to attend Wentworth Institute of Technology, where he majored
in Industrial Design, with a concentration in Furniture Design. For
over ten years and through former employers, including BoConcept as the General Manager and Roche Bobois as a Senior Design Consultant, Brad has project managed hundreds of residential interior design installations for a high profile clientele, including professional athletes and celebrities.
While
working for Roche Bobois, Brad was inspired by his "successful & self made" clientele, to
apply his previous work experiences to his current. More than just a painting company, Brad envisioned a Conceirege Design Service at a great value, filling a void for Boston's sophisticated residents, & created colorTHEORY.

Benjamin Scott Owner / Fine Artist
Benjamin Scott was transplanted to Boston in 1998. Over the
past 11 years Benjamin has worked extensively in the fields of Interior Decorating,
Furniture Design along with Painting and Interior Finishing.
With colorTHEORY,
Benjamin strives to bring together all aspects of his experience and create dynamic interior spaces, which goes beyond a mere backdrop.
With a background in Fine
Arts, Benjamin has been actively painting and drawing his entire life. His work
has been exhibited and sold in New York and Boston. Well versed in a variety of
painting styles, his work received the Luminary award at the SMFA December show
in 2006. He Holds a BFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and Tufts
University.

On January 8, 2010, colorTHEORY was awarded by Boston Magazine with the title of Best of Boston Home 2010 for Interior Painting.
Prior to receiving this prestigious award, Dufton's previous & current homes has been featured in The Boston Globe, Boston Home Magazine, Stuff Magazine and also on popular and respected websites such as design*sponge, Freshome, Desire to Inspire, and was the winner of Apartment Therapy's "Small, Cool 2009" competition within the Little Division.
